k12itc to Bring 23 New Jobs and Creative Corporate Culture to KC
k12itc, a cloud computing company focused exclusively on K-12 education, has announced plans to expand its operations in Kansas City, Mo. “We needed a home that would support our progressive business model and creative company culture,” said Brad Sandt, k12itc president and CEO.
As a technology management leader and cloud provider, k12itc offers a variety of products and solutions to K-12 organizations. From hosting to back-up to comprehensive managed services, k12itc brings a fresh and innovative approach for managing school technology.
k12itc has hired 15 new employees with plans to hire eight additional staff members over the next four years. The state of Missouri authorized an economic incentive package through the Missouri Quality Jobs Program to assist k12itc with its expansion plans.
k12itc will open a new office at 5904 NW 63rd Terrace in Kansas City North. As part of this expansion, k12itc will invest nearly $940,000 into its office and operations. “I feel that our employees are our number one asset. Therefore, it is critical for us to develop a culture that fosters innovation, creativity and collaboration,” said Sandt. “A large part of this investment is geared towards enhancing our culture.”
From game rooms to creative spaces to an innovation lab, the k12itc office is far from traditional. “Our open and relaxed environment produces greater productivity which in turn provides greater service to our customers,” said Sandt.
With the creative office space, flexible environment and other benefits such as free gym memberships and a full kitchen, k12itc has brought Silicon Valley to Kansas City.
